In 2007 PROEL worked in cooperation with the Department of Social Development Studies of the University of Teramo in order to publish its first Intangible Assets Report with the intent of providing a detailed evaluation of its resources and highlighting the value of corporate dynamism and of its own “intellectual capital”.
The Intangible Assets Report of Proel S.p.A. is part of a larger project aimed at implementing an integrated system of identification, definition, assessment and management of the intangible resources produced by the organization’s competence and knowledge which turn into organizational “value structures”, both internal (innovation, know-how, processes) and external (corporate image, relationships with customers and suppliers).
The first Intellectual Capital Report has achieved an initial definition of the intangible assets representing the corporate value. This has therefore enabled the company to identify the Intellectual Capital’s prominent profiles as well as the need for a future in-depth analysis on some aspects of intangible assets which will be recognized as value indicators in the next financial years.
